PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – U.S. Marshals located two children who went missing from Redmond, Wash., in December 2023 and returned them to their father last week, officials said.
After the Redmond Police Department and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children asked for the U.S. Marshals Service’s help in August of this year, USMS investigators determined the two children were in the greater Washington, D.C., area.

“It was determined that the children’s mother had taken them after losing custody and concealed their names in an attempt to evade law enforcement,” the U.S. Marshals Service said.
The investigation by USMS and MCU spanned three states, bringing in the U.S. Marshals Carolinas Regional Fugitive Task Force, the Arlington Police Department, and the Baltimore County Police Department…
