SEATTLE — A Seattle man accused of attacking two people with a machete at Hing Hay Park remained in custody Tuesday after a judge denied his request for release, calling him an “extreme danger to the public.”

Oneil George Bygrave faces first- and second-degree assault charges tied to an incident prosecutors say happened Oct. 9 at the park. Prosecutors allege Bygrave assaulted two men, and both charges include allegations that he was armed with a machete.
