Seattle mother wants to ‘destigmatize’ using food banks amid rising costs

SEATTLE – Since 2020, we have seen food prices rise steadily, and the pandemic pushed many families over the edge when it comes to food insecurity. Even before the pandemic, Angela Mork’s family was struggling. About five years ago, she first set foot in a food bank. Angela said it wasn’t a medical emergency or a job loss that caused her to need help to feed her family.
