Nika Muhl, the 14th overall pick by the Seattle Storm out of UConn, is not expected to play in the Storm’s preseason opener vs. the LA Sparks on Saturday.
Muhl, who’s from Croatia, was allowed to play for UConn on a student visa. However, it appears she’s now running into issues since leaving college for the WNBA.
Muhl will miss the Storm’s preseason opener on Saturday due to student visa issues.
The Storm have officially listed Muhl as “OUT” for the game. The reason? Personal reasons due to the student visa.
Hopefully, this doesn’t become a longterm issue for Nika Muhl and the Storm. Seattle has big plans for the former UConn Husky.
