The calendar has flipped to December, and the New York Jets have a lot of work to do to try and make their final six games meaningful moving forward.
At 3-8, New York is closer to the league’s top overall pick than a playoff spot. Their longshot hopes could be put to bed for good with a loss Sunday to Geno Smith and the Seattle Seahawks.
As we get closer to kickoff, it’s time to look at the inactive list for both teams including a surprise player suiting up for Gang Green.
Jets Inactive List
– RB, Israel Abanikanda
– OL, Max Mitchell
– OL, Jake Hanson
– LB, C.J. Mosley
– EDGE, Braiden McGregor
– CB, Jarrick Bernard-Converse
Notes:
– Of the names not on this list, Hall’s return to the field is a welcome sign. He suffered a knee injury during the loss to Indianapolis that forced him to miss some practice time. One will wonder how effective Hall can be on Sunday, but seeing him on the field is a welcome sign.
– Mosley hasn’t played in a game since the loss to New England over a month ago for New York. There’s some thought he may be in his final season with the Jets if he’s unable to recover from this injury.
