Renton man sentenced to 13 years for trafficking buckets of meth and fentanyl

RENTON, Wash. — A Renton man was sentenced to 13 years in prison for his involvement in a drug trafficking ring linked to Aryan prison gangs, including transporting physical buckets of meth and fentanyl.

Shawn Ellis, 32, was sentenced in U.S. District Court in Tacoma following his arrest in March 2023 after a two-year investigation.
