A Seattle Police Department investigation into a suspicious vehicle led to the arrest of a man with an assortments of drugs and stolen IDs Monday. The SPD Blotter reports that officers responded to a call regarding a bullet-riddled, license plate-less blue Ram pickup in West Seattle’s 6500 block of 35th Avenue Southwest. When authorities approached the vehicle around 2 p.m., a 34-year-old suspect dressed in ballistic body armor attempted to evade the scene.
Officers encountered further resistance as the man reached for a pocketknife upon being closed in on by law enforcement. Despite his attempts to flee and disobeying multiple commands to stop, the suspect was restrained and found in possession of multiple keys, including one that started the truck, among shaved keys in his possession. The vehicle in question was confirmed stolen according to records.
The investigatory search of the truck unearthed drugs including 75 doses of Xanax, 5.3 grams of mushrooms, 0.3 grams of methamphetamines, alongside a scale. In addition, the search revealed 14 stolen IDs and credit cards concealed within another container in the vehicle…
