Lynnwood woman injured in home invasion after gunfire exchanged

LYNNWOOD—Both victim and assailant were in injured after gunfire was exchanged during a violent home invasion that took place Tuesday morning in unincorporated Lynnwood.

Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office patrol deputies responded to the 900 block of 210th Pl SW around 11:20 a.m., Tuesday, May 6, for reports of an assault with a weapon. A 48-year-old male suspect forcibly entered a residence and exchanged gunfire with a resident. The suspect fled the scene.

A resident, a 43-year-old woman from Lynnwood, was injured and transported by aid to Harborview Medical Center.
