Man arrested for breaking dozens of windows in Belltown

SEATTLE — A 25-year-old man was arrested in Seattle Tuesday morning after he allegedly broke dozens of windows along South Wall Street in Belltown.

A Seattle Police Department spokesperson told KOMO News officers responded to the 300 block of South Wall Street after multiple people called 911 reporting a man was breaking windows. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man “walking around with a large, threaded drill bit” breaking windows in the area.

Photos and video from the scene show broken glass scattered across the sidewalk throughout the area. Police said the man broke at least 26 windows before he was arrested…
