Another day of heat follows record-breaking temperatures

Another day of hot weather continues after Seattle set a new record high on Sunday at 90 degrees.

SeaTac’s record high for June 8 had been 87 in 2015. Bellingham tied its record at 82 and Hoquiam at 75.

Temperatures will hit the upper 80s in Seattle, close to 90 in the South Sound, and low to mid-90s in the Cascade Foothills. Seattle is forecast to hit 86, with the hottest period of the day between 2 p.m. and 7 p.m…
