SEATTLE, Wash. – Seattle police released body cam footage showing a dramatic end to a high-speed chase that occurred on Tuesday in Edmonds, when a car drove off a dock and into the Puget Sound.
Police had clocked the vehicle speeding at approximately 120 miles per hour before it plunged into the water. Three people were rescued from the car, but two women, aged 45 and 48, were pronounced dead at the scene.
Two of the rescued individuals were taken to a local hospital with serious injuries. The 29-year-old driver survived the incident. Authorities noted he has a significant criminal history, having been arrested 17 times previously. He was also convicted of attempting to elude police in 2019…
