T-Rexes skydive and race at T-Rex World Championship near Seattle

Emerald Downs in Auburn, Washington, may be known for its horse racing, but on Sunday, it hosted the annual T-Rex World Championship races. Over 300 people competed in either the men’s, women’s or children’s races, all dressed up as a Tyrannosaurus Rex. The women’s final was won by Linsey Lovrovich of Gig Harbor, Washington, who sprinted ahead of the competition in a blue costume. The men’s final was a close race, but Andrew Stuber from Houston, Texas, managed to win the race by a T-Rex snout. The dinosaurs then took the sky where three parachuting T-Rexes from Skydive Snohomish descended from 5,000 feet and onto the track as they raced to the finish line. The races will be shown in full on ESPN2 later this summer…
