People living near Seattle’s Magnuson Park claim there are frequent loud parties and illegal activity with little to no police action, and they’re calling on city leaders for help.
Yvonne Wolman’s concerns about what’s happening at Magnuson Park brought her to a public safety meeting at the community center Tuesday night.
“There are incredibly loud, violent parties in the park every Sunday,” Wolman explained. “I have eyewitness accounts of people shooting guns, and after these events, the boat launch is littered with 9mm shell casings and liquor bottles.”…
