Safety questions to ask your child’s school: SROs, staff training, locks, and more

SEATTLE — Two children were killed and 18 other people injured in a mass shooting in a Minnesota school this week, leaving parents across the nation – including here in Washington – wondering how to keep their students safe.

“It’s tragic and those are very, very hard to plan for,” said Jim Fuda of the Crime Stoppers of the Puget Sound.
