Man Arrested for Alleged Stabbing in Seattle’s Chinatown-International District

A 44-year-old man was arrested in Seattle’s Chinatown-International District after allegedly stabbing another man, according to the Seattle Police Department’s Blotter. The suspect, who has a history of felony convictions, is accused of assaulting a 40-year-old man on the evening near the intersection of 12th Avenue South and South King Street.

Officers were dispatched around 5:30 p.m. in response to the incident and found the victim, who was reported to have multiple stab wounds in the abdomen. The Seattle Fire Department rendered emergency medical attention before transporting the injured man to Harborview Medical Center, where he was said to be in serious condition.

Police reports state that the assailant approached the victim from behind and stabbed him. The victim tried to give chase but failed, as the suspect fled on a bicycle. His escape was brief.
