‘Gimme my Jimmy.’ Seattle protesters condemn KOMO, Sinclair’s refusal to air Kimmel

As late-night TV fans across the country prepared for the return of comedian and host Jimmy Kimmel, protesters in Seattle gathered outside local ABC affiliate KOMO Tuesday afternoon.

Kimmel was expected to be back on the air Tuesday night, after being temporarily suspended last week following controversial comments he made about the assassination of conservative influencer Charlie Kirk.

Sinclair Broadcast Group, which owns KOMO, has stated they will not air “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” despite a decision from the network to lift the host’s suspension…
