Burien man arrested after posing as deputy, threatening driver with gun

BURIEN, Wash. — Burien deputies arrested a man on Wednesday who they say threatened to kill a victim and showed them a sheriff’s badge.

The Burien Police Department (BPD) said deputies were dispatched to a report of a person with a gun. They arrived in the area to be flagged down by several witnesses.

The victim told deputies they were sitting in their car when a stranger approached, flashed a sheriff’s badge, and ordered the victim to get out of their vehicle. The suspect then flashed a gun and threatened to kill the victim…
