Walmart announced last week it is closing a major store location in Federal Way, Washington, at the end of this month.
The Walmart store and pharmacy are located at 1900 S. 314th St. in the Seattle metropolitan area. Along with the general shopping areas, the store also has an Auto Care Center, Wireless Services, and a Photo Center, and it is officially slated to close on Oct. 31.
According to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification, 253 employees will be affected by this store closure. Walmart announced that the impacted employees will be able to transfer to another Walmart to continue their employment elsewhere…
