2 people’s faces slashed, one man arrested in Seattle

A 53-year-old man was arrested early Monday morning after police said he slashed two people’s faces in Seattle’s Pioneer Square neighborhood.

Officers responded to a report of an assault near First Avenue and South Washington Street.

A 45-year-old woman who works at a nearby bar, along with a 35-year-old man who tried to intervene, were both injured.
