Seattle mayoral candidates present contrasting solutions to city’s homelessness crisis

SEATTLE — Addressing homelessness is among the top issues in the mayor’s race in Seattle, and voters have two very different approaches to choose from between the two candidates who are running.

When it comes to homeless encampments, one of the biggest criticisms of Mayor Bruce Harrell’s approach has been that areas get cleared only to have other people pitch their tents in the same spots a few weeks later.
