A 33-year-old convicted felon was apprehended by Seattle police for drug dealing in the Belltown area on a Wednesday. In an incident that unfolded in broad daylight, officers witnessed a man, later identified as the suspect, allegedly completing a drug transaction at around 10 a.m. on the 2200 block of 3rd Avenue. According to the SPD Blotter, the suspect hastily concealed items believed to be narcotics into his pants as officers looked on.
The account continues as police stopped and detained the purchaser after a brief vehicle pursuit, at which point the officers retrieved $60 worth of crack cocaine—the substance bought from the suspect.
