A Washington man is facing charges for allegedly shooting bottles for target practice right across the street from a daycare on Wednesday.
The Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to a report of shots fired on the 8100 block of SE Southworth Drive in unincorporated Port Orchard at around 8 a.m. Wednesday. Staff members at a daycare center across the street from the suspect’s home called 911 to report seeing a man in dark clothing holding what looked like a firearm, seeing a flash and hearing a loud bang.
The sheriff’s office said the home is near a “major and well-traveled country road, residences, and a daycare for preschool children.”…
