KING COUNTY, Wash. — After a violent attack on a 75-year-old woman outside the King County Courthouse in downtown Seattle, County Councilmember Reagan Dunn is expressing concerns about the unsafe conditions surrounding the facility.
On Dec. 5, a man armed with a wooden board that had a bolt through the end of it hit Jeanette Marken in the face on the corner of 3rd Ave and James Street. The attack blinded Marken in her right eye.
“I was just appalled, utterly appalled and then angry,” Dunn told KOMO News. “This ongoing security problem we have here at the King County Courthouse is ridiculous.”…
