SEATTLE — A demonstration of roughly 200 people blocked all southbound traffic on 2nd Avenue at Madison Street in downtown Seattle on Saturday, according to the Seattle Department of Transportation.
Protesters proceeded to march north towards 4th Avenue and Cherry Street. SDOT announced that 2nd Avenue and Marion Street was “all clear” shortly before 8 p.m. Traffic cameras appeared to indicate that the majority of the crowd had dispersed by that time.
