Man convicted in gunpoint carjacking spree that began in Kent and spanned nearby cities

SEATTLE — A 25-year-old Seattle man was convicted earlier this week in U.S. District Court of multiple carjacking and gun charges stemming from a violent, daylong crime spree across King County 4 years ago.

Maar Teng Rambang was found guilty of three counts of carjacking and three counts of using a firearm during a crime of violence following a four-day jury trial, according to U.S. Attorney Charles Neil Floyd.

The jury deliberated for about an hour before returning the verdict. Sentencing was scheduled for a later date…
