Bellevue Italian restaurant vandalized twice in 3 months; same man arrested for throwing rocks

BELLEVUE, Wash. — A longtime Italian restaurant in Bellevue was vandalized again over the weekend — the second time in three months — and police believe the same man is responsible in both incidents.

Officers responded to Andiamo Italian Ristorante, across from the Bellevue Library, around 11 p.m. Sunday after reports of a man throwing rocks at the building’s windows. Police say the suspect shattered several panes, leaving plywood back up on the storefront and causing thousands of dollars in damage.
