Washington – Gray skies hang low over Puget Sound this morning, and colder air is sliding in behind the clouds. Wet pavement could turn slick fast as temperatures dip into the 30s and rain mixes with snow by Monday afternoon.

According to the National Weather Service in Seattle, rain develops by late morning Monday, then may mix with snow between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. as highs reach only 43 degrees. No significant accumulation is expected, but bursts of heavier showers could briefly coat grassy surfaces.
