14-Acre Site Near Microsoft, Light Rail Hits Market in Redmond

A 14-acre site in Redmond that once was home to a massive Sears store for almost 50 years, is located near light rail and Microsoft’s headquarters, and already has a development agreement vested through 2039 for mixed-use development is going on the market this week.

“That property was part of the portfolio spun out of Sears when Seritage was formed as a public company in 2015,” according to an email from Seritage. “Seritage has owned the site since its creation and has since worked through the entitlement and infrastructure process to reposition it for redevelopment.”
