A Monday morning outside the Ballard Food Bank turned violent when a 35-year-old man was stabbed in the back and a suspect was arrested at the scene, according to Seattle police. The victim was taken to Harborview Medical Center, and his condition was not immediately known. Witnesses told officers they saw an altercation between the two men shortly before the stabbing.

Officers were called around 10:30 a.m. to the intersection of 14th Avenue Northwest and NW Leary Way, where they recovered a blade and arrested a 34-year-old man, according to KIRO 7. The station reports the case remains under investigation.
