Ballard Food Bank staff member stabbed by client during altercation

SEATTLE — The Ballard Food Bank said it will remain closed until March 9 after a staff member was stabbed during an altercation with a client.

The 35-year-old male staff member was stabbed by a client on Monday while escorting him out of the building after the client became combative, according to information from the food bank.
