Wanted Felon Arrested After Hours-Long Standoff in Agnew

PORT ANGELES — A wanted felon is in custody after an hours-long standoff with law enforcement in the Agnew area east of Port Angeles.

Clallam County deputies say 52-year-old Kitsap County resident Patrick Nelson surrendered Wednesday evening after hiding in the attic of a short-term rental.

The investigation began March 8th when deputies were called to a vacation rental near Port Angeles after the property owner discovered firearms and drug paraphernalia left behind by renters. Two of the guns were later confirmed stolen…
