Before sunrise on Wednesday, around 5:45 a.m., the Valley SWAT team moved into the area of SW 305th Street and 2nd Avenue SW in Federal Way to serve a warrant and arrest a suspect. Police say the person is wanted on a felony assault warrant issued out of San Jose and will be extradited to California to face that charge.
According to a post from the Federal Way Police Department, Valley SWAT served the warrant and took the suspect into custody, and the person will be returned to San Jose to face the assault charge. The department did not release the suspect’s name or any other identifying details.
