New homes taking shape on former Rosewood Manor site

The site of the once-storied Rosewood Manor at 8104 220th St. S.W. in Esperance is now under development, with plans for new single-family homes taking shape. It looks like there’s room for 17 homes.

The 109-year-old Rosewood Manor was demolished in January 2024. Prior to its demise, it served many purposes, from private home to a tavern, maternity hospital, addiction treatment facility, church, and lastly back to being a private home in 2016. Years later, there was a fire in the kitchen and it proved too expensive to repair. Read more about its history here…
