Fourth Suspect Arrested in 2022 Home Invasion Homicide

Yesterday, the Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit arrested a fourth suspect in the August 19, 2022, home invasion homicide that resulted in the death of 36-year-old Irah Sok.

The fourth suspect, 24-year-old Xavier Jaquan Chaney, was taken into custody by the Sheriff’s Office Violent Offender Task Force around 1 p.m. in the 3600 block Albion Place N. in Seattle.

He was interviewed by detectives before being booked into the Snohomish County Jail for first-degree murder. His bail is currently set at $5 million dollars, and he is expected to make his first appearance in Snohomish County Superior Court on Friday for 1st Degree Murder.

The three previous individuals arrested, include:

  • 29-year-old Kevin Thissel of Pierce County who remains in federal custody pending trial.
  • 24-year-old Chris Johnson of Pierce County who pleaded guilty on March 11, 2026, to second-degree murder and was sentenced to 25 years in prison.
  • 25-year-old Keilani Songcuan who remains in custody at the Snohomish County Jail on $1 million bail pending trial.

This remains an active investigation.
