Construction at the Hood Canal Bridge to replace shock absorbers will lead to a series of overnight closures on weekdays that will last for three weeks in May.
According to the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT), contractor crews working for the agency will close Hood Canal Bridge to all travelers overnight between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. from Monday nights through Friday mornings, starting May 11.
The first set of night closures will begin at 10 p.m. Monday, May 11, and continue each night through Thursday, May 14. The closures will continue the same Monday-through-Thursday night schedule for the following two weeks, from May 18 to May 21 and then again from May 26 to May 28…
