A report from Seattle’s police watchdog, the Office of Inspector General, suggests that aggressive police tactics exacerbated tensions during a clash between officers and counter-protesters last May, who were upset over a Christian fundamentalist rally.
Officials of the Inspector General’s Office and senior Seattle Police officials are scheduled to be questioned about the report by members of the Seattle City Council’s Public Safety Committee Wednesday morning.
