CADDO PARISH, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – Posts made by a Caddo Schools employee about Texas teen Karmelo Anthony are causing a stir on social media.
The employee was identified by social media users in the area as a coach at Northwood High School and made two posts related to the teen’s murder conviction. In one post, the employee refers to Anthony as an “aspiring YN“, and in another, he said, “The jury got it right. Wanna be a stepper, go where the steppers go…to jail! Where is this energy when this stuff happens in Shreveport #selectiveoutrage.”
The post was screenshot and shared by The People’s Promise founder Breka Peoples, who tagged the Caddo Schools Superintendent in a resharing. She said in a post, “This is not about whether someone agrees or disagrees with a court case. It is about the professionalism, character, and judgment from those entrusted to mentor our youth.”…
