Flash flood watches and warnings issued across Four-State Region

The National Weather Service office in Shreveport, Louisiana, issued multiple flood alerts Friday, June 19, 2026, as a widespread area of heavy thunderstorms moved across the Ark-La-Tex, bringing the threat of flash flooding to portions of northeast Texas, southeast Oklahoma, southwest Arkansas and northern Louisiana.

A Flood Watch remained in effect for much of the northern half of the Shreveport forecast area through Friday evening.

Columbia, Union and Lafayette counties, with Webster and Claiborne parishes, are part of the watch area…
