“The ATHENA Award recognizes those making a lasting impact in their industries and throughout our community,” says the BDC, which has the unenviable job of choosing one recipient from a group of nominees that has shown “excellence and creativity in their business or profession,” has devoted “time and energy to improve the quality of life for others in the community and has actively assisted women in achieving their full leadership potential through service and mentorship.”…
