HAUGHTON, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — The Haughton Police Department invites residents to join “The Haughton Initiative” for a community celebration commemorating America’s 250th anniversary at Joe Delaney Park on Saturday, June 27, 2026.
The free family-friendly event runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and features food from Woodys Smoke-n-Que, snow cones from Sneaux Ceaux, and opportunities to connect with local vendors and community organizations, including Christmas In Haughton.
Attendees can meet representatives from the Haughton Police Department, Haughton Fire Department, and local EMS services during the celebration.
