SHREVEPORT, La. – The state of Louisiana is taking action against a Shreveport apartment complex just days after reports exposed deplorable living conditions at the facility.
The Louisiana Housing Corporation said it is stepping up enforcement of conditions at the Fairmont Apartments in downtown Shreveport. On Monday, residents at the complex reported issues including stained carpets, damaged walls, cockroach infestations and unreliable air conditioning.
