SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – A Shreveport woman says she has been living without a functioning air conditioning unit for weeks — and that her apartment complex has done little to address the problem.
Latoya George, a resident of the Sanctuary Apartment Complex, said her unit is only a few degrees cooler than outside temperatures. She said management provided a small window AC unit, but it has not adequately cooled her home.
“It is extremely uncomfortable,” George said. “You’re not resting because you’re still being drained. You know, it’s hot and you can’t relax like you need to.”
