SHREVEPORT, La. — A Shreveport man who shot a man he’d known most of his life in late 2023 was found guilty of second-degree murder at trial in Caddo District Court Thursday.
Dewayne Wilkinson, 23, was found guilty of the Oct. 2, 2023 slaying of Laroyce Daniel Brown in District Judge John D. Mosely Jr.’s court. The eight-woman, four-man jury deliberated 30 minutes before returning its unanimous guilty-as-charged verdict.
