SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – Shreveport City Council Chairwoman Tabatha Taylor is asking for the community to act and hold negligent property owners accountable through criminal complaints.
Taylor is urging residents of Shreveport to file criminal complaints with the SPD White Collar Crime Division and an Inspection Affidavit with Property Standards.
“If residents paid for their utilities, they deserve to know where their money went,” Taylor said. “We cannot allow people to pay their rent, fulfill their obligations, and then be left without basic services because someone else failed to do theirs.”…
