SHREVEPORT, La. — A Shreveport man charged with molestation of a young girl pleaded guilty to the charge in Caddo District Court Friday ahead of his scheduled trial.
Mark Perez, 40, pleaded guilty to molestation of a juvenile under age 13 before District Judge Donald E. Hathaway Jr. and must serve 25 years in prison, with registration as a sex offender. He had been set for trial Monday.
