SHREVEPORT, La. (AP) — The Caddo Parish Commission honored retiring Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana Director Martha Marak with a resolution Thursday, recognizing her 18 years of service fighting hunger and supporting families across the region.
Commissioners praised Marak’s leadership of the food bank, highlighting its role in disaster response, food distribution efforts and community feeding programs that have provided assistance to thousands of residents throughout northwest Louisiana.
