Traveling I-20 near Greenwood could have it’s share of troubles this weekend.

According to a recent notice from the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development, heading west on I-20 this Saturday will likely be somewhat slower than normal.
DOTD has alerted all drivers to the fact that this Saturday, September 26, the outside (right) lane of I-20 westbound on the bridge over the Missouri Pacific railroad tracks near Greenwood in Caddo Parish will be closed.
DOTD is planning some repair work to the deck of this bridge, which is immediately east of the US 79/US 80 interchange (Exit 5), and in order to accomplish the task, they’ll need to close this lane from approximately 6:00 am to 3:00 pm this one day only.
