SHREVEPORT, La. — Shreveport police are searching for a man accused of using a store motorized scooter to commit multiple thefts at a local grocery store.
Detectives identified the suspect as Andre Leslie Bedford through store surveillance footage following two separate incidents on Monday at the Albertsons on Southfield Road. Authorities said Bedford used a store-provided motorized scooter during both visits to gather groceries before leaving the store without paying.
Bedford is currently wanted on charges of habitual theft. Department records show he has 37 prior theft convictions…
