SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – Even at the young age of 79, T. Willie Moore has quite a busy schedule. Besides tutoring the stars of tomorrow, in the classroom – he does the same on the gridiron.
“I’ve been blessed,” says Moore. “I’ve been physically been able to do it. But, it’s a year-by-year deal now. I’m not going to say ‘five years.’ I’m 79, like, ‘Why am I out here, right?’”
Moore a former baseball pitcher for Byrd and Louisiana Tech still lives out his passion of athletics, after nearly six decades of service. Each week, you’ll find the longtime Caddo Middle Magnet math teacher still working with numbers, on the football field…
