The Shreveport Police Department investigated two separate cases in which arguments allegedly escalated to violence or threats involving weapons.
Officers responded to an assault and battery complaint on Hobbs Drive. The investigation revealed that a dispute over a $600 payment began through text messages and later escalated into a physical altercation on Glen Leaf Road.
During that altercation, Dylan Bankson allegedly hit a male victim in the back of the head with a gun. Bankson has been arrested for one count of Aggravated Battery.
In a separate incident, SPD Officers responded to a reported domestic disturbance in the 2900 block of Rosenwald Street. A female victim reported that Donald Pratt pulled a knife on her. Following further investigation, Pratt was charged with Aggravated Assault.
